Saijo persimmon is excellent fresh (allow to ripen off the tree until soft) or dried and stores well. Free of seeds and a consistent bearer, the Saijo persimmon tree is ready to harvest beginning in September and continuing into October. Self-fertile, vigorous, small to medium-sized tree at maturity. Trees are shipped with your invoice and helpful planting directions. There is no minimum quantity required but shipping rate for an individual tree is expensive since UPS/Fed Ex charge a dimensional weight and an additional handling fee to ship a tree.
