The Ya Li Asian pear is another ancient heirloom cultivar from China. Yali pears are large, pear-shaped, and smooth skinned. Ya Li pears have a crisp juicy texture and fine sweet-tart flavor with hint of anise and spice. Flesh is very juicy, with a fragrant aroma that is most enticing. Slow to bear.
