Continue ShoppingThe heirloom peach George IV is one of the best white-fleshed peaches of all time. The George IV peach tree was first recognized in New York in the 1820's. Downing in his Fruit and Fruit Trees of America claims, "Remarkably rich luscious flavor. No garden should be without it!" George IV peaches are white freestone peach with greenish white skin and a pinkish blush. Melting, juicy, aromatic, richly flavored flesh. The George IV peaches are one of a few prized peaches that retain a slight green hue on skin when fully ripe, so don't miss out on account of color expectation.
